The duration of a diploma program varies depending on the entry level qualification. After SSC or 10th level, Diploma engineering programs requires Three (03) years of full-time study.
After HSC or 12th level, Diploma engineering programs requires Two (02) years of full-time study.

Yes, after passing diploma engineering program, you are eligible to get admission in Degree through Lateral entry and it will take 03 years to complete the degree.

MSBTE, Mumbai and AICTE, New Delhi also provide Merit and Saksham, Pragati scholarships respectively.

08 | Is there any special Scholarship available for Girls studying the Diploma Engineering Programs?
Yes, there is No tuition fees and No examination fees applicable for Girl Students having parent’s annual income less than 8.00 lacs.

The admission process is through online mode and is called as centralized admission process (CAP). The notification is released immediately after the results of SSC/HSC by DTE, Mumbai.
The process involves various steps as: online registration, document uploading, Merit List, Option Form Filling, Seat Allotment and Reporting to Allotted Institute.
